Crave World Clock

Reflection Software came up with Crave World Clock Pro so it would meet a simple goal: to help you should you need to keep track of the time at an international level. Or to put it in other words, the application tells you what time it is in various cities around the world. To achieve this goal, the application puts several tools at your disposal: analog and digital desktop clocks that can be set to the time in many international cities, set the world map as the wallpaper or screensaver, balloon popup that shows up when you put the mouse cursor on the Crave World Clock system tray icon, a time zone converter.

The application can be installed on any machine that has at least 256MB of RAM or more, 11MB of free disk space, and is powered by Windows XP, Vista, 7, or 8. To install Crave World Clock, you will have to go through a standard setup process: download and run an executable, follow the instructions the setup wizard presents.

The main part of the application’s interface is taken up by a world map; from the appropriately named WorldMap menu you can change the map size, map view (centered on America, Europe, or Australasia), change the city and date fonts, and more. Above the map there are large buttons that you can use to access all the features and functions the application has to offer. And way at the top, where you would expect it to be, there’s a traditional File Menu. You can change the interface’s feel with themes – you can easily switch between several themes.

The functionality Crave World Clock has to offer can be divided into two categories:
The Time around the World – as mentioned above, the application will help you keep track of the time by providing easy access to customizable analog and digital clocks, by letting you set the world map as the wallpaper or screensaver, by letting you enable a balloon popup that will show up when you put the mouse over the system tray icon and preset the time in any 8 cities you choose, by letting you manage cities and time zones, and by offering a Quick Time Finder and Time Zone Converter.
